Yazheng Zhao is a joint Ph.D. researcher at Politecnico di Torino, working with Prof. Erasmo Carrera on rotor dynamics and active magnetic bearing. She is also currently a Ph.D. candidate in Mechanical Engineering at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, under the supervision of Prof. Jin Zhou. Her research focuses on rotor dynamics, active magnetic bearing (AMB) systems, and thermo-elastic coupling mechanisms in high-speed rotating machinery, with particular emphasis on coupling misalignment, parameter identification, and fault diagnosis.
