Dr. Xueyan Hu is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow within the MUL2 research group at the Politecnico di Torino (Polytechnic University of Turin). Prior to this appointment, he served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Huanjiang Laboratory & Zhejiang University from July 2023 to July 2025. Dr. Hu received his Ph.D. in Solid Mechanics from Zhejiang University in July 2023. His academic journey includes a research period as a Visiting PhD Student at Aalborg University, Denmark (2021–2022), and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Mechanics from Southwest Jiaotong University (2017). His research focuses on numerical methods in engineering, structural optimization, and the mechanics of advanced materials.
