Thomas Binetti is a PhD candidate in Aerospace Engineering and Human Lunar Exploration. After obtaining a MSc in Aerospace Engineering in 2025 at Politecnico and founding a student team called ASTRA in 2022, he worked for Leonardo (E-GEOS) as a System Engineer at the Matera Space Center. He is currently pursuing a PhD degree in the “Space it Up!” programme, in collaboration with Thales Alenia Space and other entities in the design and development of a Lunar Pressurized Rover.
