Giuseppe Palaia, Assistant Professor

Giuseppe Palaia is an assistant professor of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the Polytechnic of Turin. He obtained his Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering at the Department of Civil and Industrial Engineering in 2016, followed by a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering in 2022 at the University of Pisa. He actively contributed to European (PARSIFAL) and Italian (PROSIB) research projects during his research activities. His current research interests include multidisciplinary design optimization of hydrogen and hybrid-electric transport aircraft with a particular focus on unconventional airframes, design of all-electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft and multidisciplinary design optimization of space vehicles for lunar exploration.
