Giulio Candita is a PhD student in Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Torino. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering in September 2020, followed by a Master’s degree in the same field in April 2023, both from Politecnico di Torino. For his Master’s thesis and subsequent internship after graduation, Giulio worked at Thales Alenia Space, where he focused on the design and analysis of mechanisms for space-pressurized modules. In November 2023, he began his PhD at Politecnico di Torino, joining the MUL2 research group in collaboration with Thales Alenia Space, under the supervision of Professors Erasmo Carrera and Alfonso Pagani. His doctoral research centers on the development of Digital Twins for the aerospace sector.
