Daniele Scano, Post-doc

Daniele Scano is an Aerospace Engineer working at Politecnico di Torino. He earned a BSc in Aerospace Engineering at Politecnico di Torino in October 2018 by discussing a thesis on the instabilities of combustion of liquid propellants for rocket propulsion. Afterwards, he attended an MSc in Aerospace Engineering at the same university, and he earned his Master Degree in April 2021, presenting a thesis on the use of Lagrange polynomials for linear and non-linear analysis of multilayered structures. He started working at Politecnico di Torino in May 2021 under the supervision of Prof. Erasmo Carrera, and he started his PhD in Mechanics in November 2021. His research projects are about the use of refined theories for beam, plate and shell formulations.
