Akbar Bayat received his M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Razi University, Kermanshah, Iran. During his Master’s studies, his research focused on the buckling behavior of composite plates under hygrothermal conditions.
In July 2026, he started his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering at Politecnico di Torino under the supervision of Prof. Alfonso Pagani and Dr. Shabnam Kiasat. His current research focuses on the multi-scale thermal behavior of aerospace composite structures, with particular attention to the influence of microstructural features on thermoacoustic wave propagation.
