LIST (Luxembourg) – 6-Month Internship: Modelling and Manufacturing of Curvilinear Composites

Contract: Internship
Focus: Modelling and Manufacturing of Curvilinear Fibre-Reinforced Composites
The candidate will contribute to ongoing research on curvilinear continuous-fiber-reinforced composites, strengthening the connection between numerical modelling, continuous-fiber additive manufacturing, and mechanical testing. Key activities include developing finite element models (leveraging Carrera Unified Formulation shell approaches where appropriate), supporting 3D printing of specimens, characterizing process-induced deviations, and validating predictive models with experimental test data.
